About Jenny

Professional with a background in legal writing, journalism, marketing/public relations, and graphic design.

I currently work in the business immigration field as a legal writer/paralegal, drafting complex legal arguments for immigrant and non-immigrant employer-based visas at Brelje & Bus Immigration Law PC. Prior to joining Brelje, I was the lead legal writer for the PRIME team at Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy LLP in Phoenix.

In 2021, I earned my Master of Arts degree in Anthropology from the University of Hawaiʻi at Manoa. I graduated in 2017 from Arizona State University with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Journalism and Mass Communication, Political Science and Asian Studies. After graduating, I worked as a journalist, first as an education reporter in Palm Springs, California, and later as a fact-check reporter for The Associated Press in Phoenix, Arizona. I have also had an array of experience in marketing, public relations, graphic design, and editing.

Also a hobby ceramicist.

In my free time, I am a ceramicist. I began taking ceramics courses at Mesa Community College in 2023 and have since fallen in love with the craft. I am primarily interested in handbuilding whimsical and functional ceramics through slabs and coils, but I’m always learning and improving as a wheel-thrower.

Why 丽丽 Pottery? My mother named me 丽丽 (Lee Lee) and I wanted to honor that through my ceramics work.
